I got back from Rome yesterday, and it was AMAZING! I had the best time with my classmates and we saw a lot of Rome's beautiful culture, history and surroundings. The Colloseum and the view down from the Spanish Steps were great! (I'll put pics up tomorrow! )We partied 3 out of the 4 nights and we had busy days, so you can imagine how tired I still am ;)
I was fooled by the lovely weather because it was freezing at night, and I got a cold. That, and my fear of aircrafts (imagine my shock when we got turbulence on our way back) made the journey home like hell.. I now have completely lost my voice from coughing the entire week, so I'm gonna stick with drinking honey-tea ALL the time :)

We went shopping last Thursday I only bought this one thing... I am just as surprised as everybody else who thought I would shop till my suitcase was completely stacked! :p... and all I bought was ...

Off to Rome!

While I'm writing this post, I am stressing out because I'm going on a schooltrip to Rome from Monday till Friday..and there's SO much to do before I can leave Monday morning. Packing my suitcase has always been a disaster, and so it was today: fashionable dilemma's and not-knowing-what-to-wear... But, I succeeded and I even have a little extra space left for new purchases:)

I'll probably wear my new over sized knitted jumper again when we fly to Rome Monday, because it's SO comfy! And warm, pretty important too, since it can get pretty cold up in the sky ;)
I won't be updating the blog next week (at least no picture-post) because I can't use a laptop and my phone is not an option... and I probably have no time because I'm enjoying the beautiful ROME ♥ Don't wanna miss me? :p Follow my Twitter to keep updated :D

I just treated myself on a new order from H&M... (big grin XD)
I am a bigger fan of H&M than I would have thought, until I looked back on my order history.. But how can I blame myself? What's not to love about H&M? I scored some basic stuff and just some things that would come in handy for my internship.. lots of traveling and making long, long days?..I think a new, simple but neat bag and a pair of black flat boots are the perfect purchase for it..

When writing my article for FollowFashionNL, I searched online for big, bold and beautiful earrings.. Then I discovered these cobalt blue earrings from H&M, so no surprise I added these to my order as well :D... Can't wait to receive my package! ♥ Do you like what I ordered?

Happy New Year my dear readers! 2012 already started out great for me, because my blog has received its 400th follower! YAY :)
I hope there will be many more to come:)

I don't think you've seen me wearing my glasses on the blog often.. I actually only wear glasses at home, or when I really don't feel like wearing contacts.. Today was like that, I wanted to give my eyes a rest.. I often automatically go for a cute but geeky school girl look when I wear my nerd glasses.. (picture this look with a full skirt, see?) But to make it less sweet I threw on my most loved item..Leather pants! :D Oh, and wearing pumps was the biggest mistake of this year so far.. it was SO cold, I would normally say "It's worth it" but trust me, today it wasn't =P

Another reason why 2012 started great: I am going to write some articles/guestposts for other blogs and fashion platforms! Since I enjoy blogging and writing so much, I thought it would be cool to do something different.. Keep an eye on my TSC featured in page, I will add the websites for which I have written articles later this week..

Outfit: The Newbie

Today's outfit: this is what I wore to a lunch/brunch with my parents, grandparents and sister! I wore my new super-comfy H&M sweater ..the one I had been chasing for for 2 weeks ( every time I checked the online shop it was sold out, but I was determined that it had to be available again some day soon) and finally when I checked the online shop at 4 AM, it was available in my size! Yes, I make that much effort for a sweater.

Before I keep going on about my sweater, the title of this post refers to something else I just purchased...
I kept looking for a nice big bag that I could wear to school, work and my upcoming internship. A classy, musthave bag.. Of course the gorgeous Cèline bag (Luggage Tote) caught my eye before, but the price tag was a little out of my budget.. I found out about a new store in town, which sells all kinds of clothes and bags from new, small brands.. And what did I find? A pretty good look-a-like of the Cèline Luggage Tote! The price was reasonable so this baby had to be mine. I feel like the luckiest girl on the planet with this new addition to my closet!
P.S. My shop will be updated tomorrow, and what's better than starting the new year with a big sale?? Stay tuned!

excusez moi for the lack of updates... I've got so much on my plate right now and everything seems to have bad timing..These make-up pictures are from 4 days ago, but only now I've got the time to post them, at freaking 1.45 AM...LOL (happy Sunday already everyone!)

Only one week left of school, so Christmas Holiday is around the corner! I love the X-mas spirit ^^) And I've got great news... Drumroll please... I got the Fashionable PR internship in Amsterdam's PC Hooftstraat, the placement I wanted so badly! :D I will start my internship at 20 January but I'm already super excited and ready to go.. Almost all of my announcements made: stay tuned for The Stylish Confessions-webshop.. I'm gonna update it this week and I've got lots of cool stuff , ready for a new owner!

I guess the second picture will do as an outfit-post.. It's from last weeks 'graduation'.. I'll officially graduate in June 2012 when I receive my second diploma Personal Assistant, but last week I signed my first diploma for Secretary ! REVIEW | Naturalites False Lashes ♥

makeFull and long lashes, every girls' wish right? I don't have anything to complain because my own lashes are pretty long, but I just love how false lashes give your eyes that extra touch :) I wear the Naturalites Lashes pretty often, because they look natural (depending on which size and model you choose) and they're easy to clean and re-use.
What I really love about the Naturalites Lashes is the clear (not in the picture) and super flexible strip: you hardly see where the false lashes are attached, especially when you wear eyeliner. Plus, they're very flexible so they won't jump back in their original shape and let loose ;) I wear them whenever I feel like it, whether it is to school or to a party.. How do you feel about wearing false lashes? I am hooked :D

P.S. They look different than in the box, because I added some mascara ;)

Time for a little update!

I've had these photo's on my computer for 2 weeks but I couldn't find the time to post them.. Too busy with school and work, and from traveling to Amsterdam back and forth ..

As you may know, I study for Secretary/Management Assistant, and I just got my 1st diploma :D Yaaay! And I changed my plans about school, because I decided I want to learn more about the PR side of my job..I'm probably not going to work right after school, because I want to follow some courses or trainings to deepen myself in PR/Communication.. All very exciting! Even more exciting for me: I applied for an internship placement at an amazing PR agency in the hottest shopping street of Amsterdam: (or should I say Holland?)... the PC Hooftstraat! I don't know if they picked me yet, I'll find out this week :) I just hope wherever I fulfill my last internship, it'll be an amazing placement (preferably fashion-related) that's perfect for me because I want to make the most of it:)

I guess I'll always be a small girl with big dreams ♥

Do you want something totally different with your hair, but you don't exactly know what? Or don't you want to spend lots of money at the hairdresser?
I had been thinking about changing my hairdo for quite some time before I decided to cut my own bangs!
Because no matter which hairdresser I went to, it never really turned out as I hoped ...I figured I would rather dye my hair myself, there's nothing difficult about it.. Since I have been dying my hair for years now, why not cut it myself as well? ... I received a few emails about how I cut my own bangs so I decided to do a DIY about it.

TREND | Versace for H&M: My favourites

Who knew Donatella Versace could convince me with the Versace for H&M collection after all? I'm not a huge fan of most of the Versace collections to be honest.. Too much gold/color/prints in one piece of clothing for my taste..

So at first I wasn't so sure what to think when I saw the first few photo's of the palm-tree printed leggings and heart printed fringe dresses.. My curiosity won, so I went through the entire collection and realized that Ms. Versace has definately thought about my love for studs and leather! I'm not a huge fan of color-blocking any more, so the only colorful piece that did catch my eye was this amazing hot-pink studded dress :) But oh boy, I need to combine that with one of those leather jackets right?♥.. And OMG, those stiletto boots?! Can you say gorgeous? Have to be mine soon.. *hungry eyes*

I attended the HypeBazaar night in Nijmegen last Friday (read post below:) where I scored my new beige booties... Oh boy, I don't remember how I made it to the bus stop, walking 8 minutes from my home..without falling. I have never been so happy to find a seat in the bus and not having to move the entire ride.. But once I got to school they were just as 'comfortable' as any other pair of heels.. I even wore them again today, for the 2nd day in a row. I guess practice does make perfect ;) These booties were exactly what i was looking for to combine my boyfriend jeans with.. Of course pointy pumps would have been cool, but it's been freezing for days now, so that was no option..

I went to the HypeNight at the HypeBazaar store with my BFF Linda last friday!
I already spotted the new store when I went shopping in Nijmegen a while ago, so when I read that there was going to be a HypeNight with good music, delcious snacks and drinks, and let's not forget: AMAZING clothes and shoes of brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Armani, Guess and French Connection, I wanted to check it out! We both left the store with a gorgeous pair of high heels! You can see mine here
This event was, unlike most fashion events, accessible for everyone! :D
The store has got a luxiourious look, some quite exspensive brands and everything looks so chic and glamourous.. GREAT store! I'm sure we will have to drag ourselves away from that store the next time we go shopping in Nijmegen ..

My sister and I were invited to the Just SayinNL Fashion Gathering last friday, in studio Zi in Rotterdam! After a trip through Holland of 2 hours we made it to the event :p.. It was a great event, lots of art and fashion of course! I met a lot of cool people, we enjoyed lots of delicious snacks and fashionshows, I had an interview, and at the end of the event we all got a cute goodiebag with tons of nice stuff! I was bummed out that my camera's flash gave out and the brand new batteries said 'empty' after the first few photos, so some are taken with my BlackBerry :) Check out the pics below :)

Today's outfit -finally, a proper outfit post!- was inspired by the beautiful autumn weather we've had in Holland for the past few days.. All those colorful leaves whirling around, the sun shining bright and the sky clear blue.. This is actually a summer dress from H&M, but I love it combined with my new boots (no heels, I guess I can love flat shoes after all) and my beloved leather jacket.. Warm enough for the autmn days...And a pop of color is necessary to brighten up your outfit when the real winter weather comes around ;) I can't wait for X-mas time.. Hopefully it'll be a white Christmas again.. But that's still far away.. For now, I'll just enjoy the lovely autumn days left of my holiday..

Hi my fellow followers! I haven't been blogging for too long once again. I even forgot to send my random tweets out to the world every now and then, that usually never happens XD.. I have vacation now, which I had been longing for ever since school started after the summer holidays lol. I don't hate school, in fact, I like to go to schoool... but the past 2 months were just super intense.. There was so much I had to deal with, even now in my vacation I can't sit back and relax, I have to study and catch up on my homework instead..

That's why I only have a few of these random pictures to share with you guys. I am going to have a photoshoot with my friend later this week or next week because she has an amazing camera, and it'll be fun to shoot some real professional outfit photos!

Make-up and ring close-up... It's not the real YSL Arty ring :p I wanted to purchase the real one, but that meant getting on a waiting list for about 1,5 month. No thank you..I bumped in to this amazing look-a-like on ebay and I was sold because it's almost as gorgeous as the Yves Saint Laurent ring... almost ;)

The start of something new.

Now the time I had been waiting for has finally come.. I consider this the start of something new... Yes people.. After all the hard work....I PASSED MY EXAM! I freaking made it! Tears of joy were rolling down my cheeks when I got home, because this has taken me such a long time..
Since january this year I was struggeling with this test- an exam that I should have finished in my second year- and I had to do it over and over and over again.. Now I am officially in my third and last year of the study Secretary/Personal Assistant.. YAY! I can finally close the chapter of last school year and relax.. but only for a while. In the first week of November is my first exam (my first diploma, for Secretary!) of this current school year, so I have to prepare myself for an even bigger challenge.. I now know one thing: ANYTHING is possible, as long as you believe in yourself..I knew it was meant to be that I made it to my final year after all.. That has always been my goal:) And when I set goals for myself, failing is NOT an option :p A lot has changed since last schoolyear, I definatelly notice the difference between level 3, which is Secretary, and level 4: Personal Assistant.. That means that my top priority is school, so I will already apologize if I don't spend as much time blogging as I used to do.

And that's when I thought: new schoolyear, new hairdo! I actually wanted to dye my hair, but a red-brown color would not do my hair much good, so I decided to give myself a haircut.. I don't know exactly how I did it, but I think the 'messy' bangs worked out pretty good.. what do you think?

Hey guys!

I hope you haven't forgotten me! In my last post from almost 4 weeks ago, I said I would come back to post every now and then, just not every 3 days. Unfortunately that didn't work out.. I took a break because I needed to focus on my upcoming exam.. THE exam I have been doing over and over again since last january..since then there were 3 retakes.. and last tuesday was my final last chance! I was not even nervous because I had prepared myself for weeks, I felt confident this time..

I think it went okay, even though I found out later that I still missed a few things. I dont know why I forgot, probably because I had to rush again, I barely finished in those 4 hours.. I already felt sick Tuesday morning but I did not want to let my 'cold' get in the way of ACING this exam!.. Boy was I wrong.. As soon as I got home I started to get a fever.. The first thing next morning was a powerpoint presentation about my assignment from the exam the day before.. I came to school anyways because I simply HAD to, but I felt like I wasn't really there. I had a high fever, strep throat like hell, and I felt like I could burst out in tears because I had not prepared my presentation because I was sick. After I finished I did break down in tears.. This exam that took 2 days was all I had been thinking about for weeks, I have done everything to pass this time, and then a terrible fever kicks me out of my focus :( After all I have a decent feeling about this.. It went better than all those times before. I think I did okay.. Hopefully okay will be enough! I'll know if Im gonna have to throw a party by Monday!
In the meantime of all this... I cut myself some bangs! Out of the blue I decided that I knew what to do with my hair.. Not even for a second I doubted, I just took my mom's professional hairdressers scissors and started cutting bangs :D I think it worked out pretty well! Do you like the bangs? I just wanted to share some other pics as well that I recently took with my blackberry, so I wont leave you guys without a picture-update any longer!

btw: THANKS for all the good luck wishes you guys gave me for my exam, it really means a lot to me :D Stay tuned for a new outfit post monday... plus my hopefully GREAT news! My fever is finally starting to go down, now I hope that stupid strep throat will follow..BUT I'll be back next monday with a new post, that's a promise ;)

B from busy that is.. I should actually take more time when it comes to outfit posts, but that will come later again... These photo's are all I've got today...

Confession: Unless I really have time for it, I'll spend a little less time on the blog from now on.. Somewhere at the end of September-beginning of October (date is still unknown) I have to retake my exam from last year.. I know, it's all I am talking about, especially on twitter, but it's all I can think about right now. I'm in my third and last year of the education for Management Assistant, but if I dont pass this exam after all... ugh, dont want to think about that! So much depends on this retake, it freaks me out if I even think about it, since it will be the 5th time that I have to take this exam! Third times the charm should be 5th for me XD
Thank God it's not that this level is too hard for me, or that I'm not smart enough.. Logical insight in planning and organization seems to be the only 'missing' key, especially when I'm under pressure.. (I have only got 4 hours for this HUGE assignment and I have never been able to finsh in time)
So...that's what I am doing at the moment, training myself and making old assignments over and over again to get myself ready for the big finale. Make-up: Classic with a twist

To me, a classic make-up means black eyeliner and red lips.. But I'm kind of done with wearing red lipstick all the time, so I chose my favourtite hot pink lipstick from NYC colours. I highly recommend this brand, I love it! I've never had a better lipstick that lasts this long, and this one only costs €3,99! Even my Chanel lipstick doesn't beat this one, that's pretty unbelievable right?! The products are good quality for a very low price.. My eyeliner is also from NYC colours and it stays on all day, it does not run out :)

My secret to fuller bottom lashes is very simple: I usually draw on super thin lines (like hardly visible, but still gives a nice effect!) of eyeliner that follow your natural bottom lashes (it is visible in these close-ups) so my bottom lashes appear fuller :D

Just a quick post of today's look because I am super busy with school, trying to get myself to pass last year, wich all depens on my final retake somewhere in the beginning of October..

I wore my glasses for the first time in weeks, so I had to make an outfit post while wearing them ;) I have become a skirts-girl over the past few weeks, though I could never live without my beloved leather leggings of course.. This skirt from La Fayette in Paris is my favourite! I love how the back runs in layers:D As you know, I went to the Grazia PC Catwalk show last Sunday (posted below) and since then I've been checking out other blogs and websites, and I spotted myself quite a few times in their pictures! Can't wait till next years' PC catwalk!

EVENTS | Grazia PC Catwalk Show 2011♥

Hi dolls!

As you probably knew from my million tweets about it, I went to the Grazia PC Catwalk show in Amsterdam last Sunday! It was my first fashion event, and I know one thing for sure: I'm going again next year!!:D The show was hosted by Stacey Rookhuizen and there was an amazing opening performance by Adlicious.. I added a short video of their performance, my camera wouldn't switch on so I missed half of the song but I like the video anyways, we were 50 meters away from them so I think the video turned out great:D
This show with the longest catwalk ever, 320 meters, was held in the P.C Hoofdtstraat in Amsterdam, the most expensive and well known shopping street of Holland! I went with my sister and three friends, we had a blast! I'll try to make this post short because the pictures speak for itself :P We wear lucky to sit front row so we could take good pictures of the outfits and the celebrities at the event! Enjoy!

Hi lovelies!

Today's look was all about black. It's been quite a long time since I wore an all black outfit, but I'm starting to like the unicolor and rockchic look again :D Makes me wanna listen some bad-ass rock music haha! Though, I couldn't resist a tiny bit of color, so I added my beloved blue Aldo handbag ♥
These jeans are one of my diy's, I ripped the jeans and put lace fabric in it so it looks like I'm wearing lace tights underneath! Here is how I did this DIY!
I scored 2 new nailpolishes today, while I promised myself to not spend any more money on things like this for the rest of the month XD I'm wearing the metallic blue one right now, and I LOVE it! Just posted a pic on twitter ;)

There's a lot going on in today's outfit.. This striped top from H&M is the newest addition to my closet! Today I was feeling like wearing whatever, so I pulled out a color blocking purse, leather pants and a bit mismatching snake printed pumps.. Sometimes doing just that gives your outfit a different look.. Going for my black snake printed heels would have been too simple and expected.. I like to break the rules sometimes :)

I had a huge post planned for today, but unfortunately my camera thought different.... I had to take the outfit pictures with my old camera, excusez moi if the quality sucks XD Glad I got the close-ups with my good camera! :) Todays look was actually quite simple, but sometimes, simplicity is key ♥

My mom told some colleagues at work about my blog, and one of them gave her this amazing magazine for me! So sweet! (Thank you if you read this! :) I actually never heard of this glossy magazine before, but it's aaaaahmazing! It's like Vogue, Grazia and Elle in one♥ There was too much that I wanted to share, but here are a few scans ;)

Hi my fellow readers!

I attempted to do an outfitpost 3 times last week.. But I was stuck with the summer flu or something, feeling sick and headaches and all that, so I wasn't feeling like starting up my slow computer, (takes up about 15 minutes :/ ) to upload outfit pictures... I picked 1 picture out of the 3 photo series I did earlier this week, so I could still share them with you :D
I also had an outfit picture on my BlackBerry, along with a few other pics from last week:D Yeah, I take tons of pictures XD

Since I was 'celebrating' my holiday alone today, I decided to curl up on the couch with a bunch of cupcakes and hot tea, and watch Keeping up with the Kardashians and Kim & Kourtney take New York all day.. That made me remind myself that my inspiration folder had all these images of Kim Kardashian in it! figured it was time for a celebstyle post again, so I collected these pictures of her. Bright colored one-pieces or just a pop of color, she definitely has a thing for the color-blocking trend!

I think that girl has got some amazing sense of style :D Plus, she always looks amazing, whether she is going to an event or just running errands...I think it is always important to look your best, and Ms Kardashian definitely does! I wonder if her Glamsquad team is doing her hair and make-up every day, or if she does is herself sometimes...Hmmm.. What do you think?

Paris Pictures!

Hi dolls!

I came back from my vacation in Paris 2 days ago! I had the time of my life, Paris is such an amazing city! The culture, the food, the parisian people, the buildings and surroundings, I loved it :D Not to mention the amazing shops.. I went for 5 days with my parents and my twinsister, we stayed at a hotel just 10 minutes form the centre of Paris. We travelled a lot by metro, and we probably walked a 100000 miles xD In total we took over 650 pictures (not kidding) and I tried to choose a few for each catagory that I made collages for :) Imagine editing those pictures with an extreeeeemely slow computer, then you know why it took my 1,5 days :p I love being creative though, so I am very happy with my collages. Hope you enjoy!

Hey all!

I am SO excited to finally go to Paris! My sister took these 3 pics of today's look, because I did not want to leave my dear readers without a new post while I'm gone ;) I can't wait to see the city, the Eiffeltower, the great museums and of course: the shops! I just finished packing and I really can't wait to finally go!

Hi dolls!

Sorry for the long time no post ! This is what I wore yesterday! The striped top is probably my favourite latest purchase, I love tops with an oversized fit. Perfect to tie up, like I did yesterday.

Today I sorted out my entire wardrobe, and I came to the conslusion that I actually do have a lot of clothes. I just forget it is there most of the time :p I wrote down tons of looks in my sketchbook and tried to use all of my garments so I can variate looks :) This comes in handy if I don't know what to wear , I just flip through my sketchbook and pick out a look:)

In the meantime, I have 4 days left before I go to ♥PARIS♥ with my parents and sister, so I'm gonna try to not spend my money on clothes or shoes anymore.. Hmm.. Challenging! Gonna be hard because I just spotted these gorgeous babies from Supertrash, as I posted on Twitter.. Oh well, the thought of ordering them right after Paris makes me happy too ☻

New dress, old blazer. I bought this dress just because I wanted to have another simple summer dress, without thinking about what to wear with it. It's a very simple but girly dress, so I thought I could combine it with a biker jacket for a tough look, or with a blazer for a neat look. All my blazers are black or dark blue and I want to wear less dark colors. Then I realised I had this grey blazer hanging in my closet, it happens to match perfectly with the grey flowers on the dress :) Yay, mission accomplished ;) I'm curious how you guys would combine a girly-girl dress? Would you toughen it up with a biker jacket or boots? Or would you make it a cute look? Tell me!

Finally I can show you guys my latest Do It Yourself projects : Tassel earings and ripped jeans!

I first read about the tassel trend on www.fashionising.com and I liked it, but I didn't know what to do with it exactly. Since I found these tassels per two, I decided to transform them into earrings!

As for the jeans, I was about to throw them away. But I could better at least attempt to make something 'new' out of these old jeans, so I ripped them and gave them a destroyed look. Since I already have a pair of normal ripped jeans, I wanted to combine these with lace fabric. Here are the results of my latest DIY's!

What have I been up to..

I just realised how little non-fashion-related posts I have made so far.. No outfit pics from today (just a little peek XD) because it was a very boring 'off to work' look, plus my camera decided to not let me take any more pictures than these. Batteries were empty and as a bad shopper, I bought everything but new batteries xD

My most loved and hated at the same time thing right now must be my BlackBerry. I love it when it works, which is not very often anymore. Plus it is damaged and my sweet parents won't let me buy an iPhone yet.. So I figured if I pimped this BB up it might suck a little less.. Since I have a thing for shimmery, shiny accessoiries, it worked!

I went running first thing in the morning and it was the best work-out ever! Got me totally motivated to work-out again tomorrow morning :) All I wanted to do after, was enjoying a zen-moment on the couch.. My pile of the latest fashion issues and Stylebook agenda next to me , a cup of tea and my favourite cupcake right on the table.. Good moments! ♥

Pink ruches

There's something about the color pink that I cannot resist.. It's such a cute color, not to mention totally hot right now! I bought this pink wetlook nailpolish from Hema last week.. I love it! It actually lasts longer than I expected, so this will be a just as good replacement for my hotpink Chanel nailpolish :) I do want the hot-pink nailpolish from Chanel again, but buying it in Paris at the end of this month makes it a bit more 'special' ;)

I also bought a pink and red lipstick from Gosh last week:) Gosh I love that brand! I added the pictures in a .gif file below..

This necklace was a super simple DIY :) The flower-ish thingy was originally attatched to a hairband, I wore that shimmery headpiece to the gala in the UK 2 months ago. But it broke, so I thought I could make a broche out of it. Instead, I liked the idea of a 'statement necklace' better. Here's the result!

Stripes and DIY shorts

When in desperate need of shorts because of the hot weather, what could you do? Go shopping.. Or cut off your old Levi's and hope you're not going to mess them up.. I choose for the last option since going shopping for the 3d time in one week isn't a good idea in my case ;) These jeans used to be baggy but too many washes made them less slouchy.. So I picked these out to DIY them into shorts.. I thought I could just as well destroy them a bit and add shredded details while I was at it, so this is the result:D
Next time I do go shopping, I will not go home without another pair of shorts!

I wore these shorts with my new slouchy striped top (Goood I love slouchy tops) and new heels! They're surprisingly comfortable, yay!

Pink shorts

I went shopping TWO days in a row to score at least one pair of shorts, but I couldn't find the right pair.. I was hoping for a cobalt blue, hot pink or bright green pair of shorts.. But those colors where nowhere to be found (what is up with all the browns and pastels?! Where are the bright colors? ) or not the right fit or size... I had to dive into my sisters closet where I luckily found this cute pink pair.. Love it! It totally matches my new pink purse!

So I could't find my perfect summer shorts, what I did find was this amazing pair of wooden high heels, incredibly marked down! I tweeted a photo of those babies♥

Something totally different: I want a new haircut or color or whatever, I need some change.. I don't know if I want something drastic or not.. the problem is that I don't know what I want! Ive been flipping through magazines but I am clueless.. Got any cool ideas for me??

I was never a huge fan of sheer material, until I decided to just give it a tryt oday. This black see-through top is from H&M and I've probably worn in a 1000 times, but never with nothing else underneath it.. Well, nothing else as in another top... You get the point XD
I still wanted to go for a neat look so of course I had to pull out one of my many blazers and these trousers. Instead of finishing today's neat- but with that extra touch outfit by picking out a gorgeous handbag, I grabbed my nerdy schoolbag to drag along.

Cat-eye tutorial

I decided to do my first make-up tutorial since I am curious what you guys think of my make-up skills XD I love to experiment with make-up, and I've got lots of cool ideas after going through a pile of the newest magazines :D The cat-eye look is one of my fave's and I wear it regularly, but what I've never really tried is the 'drawn on fake lashes'.. It's a bit like Twiggy! I remember reading about drawn-on lashes somewhere and immediately thought I should try it some time. Since I was goofing around with my eyeliner for the cat-eye look anyway, I decided to give it a try today. Let me know what you guys think of my first turorial!:D

Pink & Blue

On happy days I wear happy colors, and today turned out to be a great day :D
My last day of my internship was last Tuesday, but that didn't feel like my last day.. Today felt like my last day! I had to come back this afternoon for my final evaluation, my end appraisal! I was super excited and a bit nervous, I still had loads of things to do before I could finish my report and assignments -stresssss- but I managed to hand it in just in time:D Turns out my internship had gone just fine, exactly what I hoped and secretly already expected ;) And most importantly: I got a good grade! Now I can look back with confidence at 5 very interesting months in which I have learned a lot about my education, the industry I want to work in, and most of all: myself.

For 5 months I had to 'work' 5 days a week, from 08.30 AM till 5.30 PM and time has really flown by, I can't believe today was the last time I was there.. I am going to miss it, especially since all the school stuff will start soon! I could have started my vacation right now, but unfortunately the holiday-vibe has to make room for a focused and clear mind: I still have a retake (final chance, brrr) to pass in 2 weeks!
But of course, this vacation also means loads of time for my blog! I am planning on changing some things because I'm still not 100% satisfied with the lay-out etc.. Also got some new DIY 's coming up. If you guys like it I will probably make some extra and give them away in a GIVEAWAY! Stay tuned..

Sweet as Candy

Obsessed with shoes as I am, I couldn't manage to go shopping yesterday and not buy myself a new pair. In fact, I bought two pairs of shoes. These metallic silver wedges are gorgeous, they're totally me :D I can't get over how comfortable they are! I always ~~want~~ need something shiny in my outfit so these wedges are perfect.

My friend and I went to Rotterdam for one store in particular: PRIMARK! I was so so so excited and I thought I would go home with 3 shopping bags ( since that's the case everytime I go shopping in the Primark store in Corby in the UK) but I wasn't really blown away. It was SO crowded, and the lines were till halfway throught the store. Fortunately I still managed to score the last pair of cute grey Vans look a likes, this soft pink top, two-tone clutch and salamander-ring!

Colorblocking.. One of the hot trends at the moment that I happen to love! I decided that I needed to add more color to my closet, so I think two of my latest purchases are perfect finds!☺The pink top is from Mattalan and the leather bag ( the most perfect addition to my leather bags collection) is from Aldo.
Tomorrow is my belated b-day party (I turned 19 on May 12 :p ) and I am still figuring out what to wear.. Something colorfull for sure! Stay tuned for pics :D

Finally I can show you a peek of some of the new stuff I bought in the UK :D I had a few things on my wishlist that I really wanted, but couldn't find everytime I would go shopping.. But then I walked into a huge huge HUGE ( did I say hùge?! ) Primark store ! Snake-bracelet? Check. Blue blazer? Check. Black platforms with light heels? Check.. I bought over 25 things at Primark alone =P

Crackle Nails

I am back from a short break from blogging! My only post this month was a message that said I was off to England, with a promise that my next post would be pics and outfitshots from my trip to the UK.. I do have loads of pictures that I want to share but there are so many (about 500, so that's about 100 pics a day XD), that I have to sort them out before I decide which ones I will post!

One of the things I bought at John Lewis, Trafford shopping centre in Manchester, is this black W7 limited edition crackle nail polish! (Earthquake black) I could not find a crackle nail polish in Holland so when I bumped into this in the store, I had to buy it!

I must say, it's pretty cool and really different.. I love how every coat of polish creates an unique pattern! I applied a thick coat, but if you apply a thin coat, you'll get more crackles.. it's funny to see how the nail polish 'breaks' and creates the crackles..I think I want this in more colors, this will probably be my latest addiction when it comes to nail polish trends:D

Off to England!

An apology for the lack of updates is probably in place. I wish I had more time, but I am so so busy! My internship has gone by so fast, I only have 2-3 weeks left! I also had to retake the most important exam for my education, wich I failed :( Really devastating, I was pretty out of it for a few days. I have one chance left so I am going to try my hardest to pass the exam the next time, even though failing one exam 3 times makes it hard to stay motivated.. I had to focus on other things so blogging was not top priority for the past few weeks ;)

I have been counting down the days for weeks, and in less than 9 hours I am finally going to ENGLAND! Yay! England is like my second home, I always miss it when we go back to Holland. This time I have my brand new camera to drag along, so I will take plenty of pictures to share with you later :D My sister and I made sure to pack lightly because as we usually do when we're in the UK, we shop till we drop! I will wear my prom/gala dress to a huge party on Saturday, everybody will wear 'black tie' So excited! I'll be back on the 23d, so stay tuned for an overload of outfit/vacation shots!

Finally a short blog update! I haven't been on here for what feels like quite a while, but it's only been 10 days ;) Time seems to pass by faster than fast when you're a busy bee!

It's time for a flared-legs pair! :D

Hi!

This will be just a short outfitpost! I didn't have to go to my internship today, so I took the chance to wear all stars! We had a reunion from school, at a hotel nearby. After we were done there my friend and I had to wait for the bus for quite some time, so we decided to take a walk through the forest by the hotel.. Got pretty lost there with no reach wich means no GPS :p And we ended up in a completely different city, BUT, near a busstop! Seems that we weren't that far away, but it was one pretty adventurous walk through the forrest :P So glad I decided to go for all-Stars instead of my heels..

My sister and I decided to meet up in the city and grab some lunch! I always love going out for lunch/dinner, especially if we go to Starbucks afterwards and get some Caramel Frappucino's! I even had room for a little ice cream, yummy! The weather was perfect for it, and the rest of this week promises to be a real Dutch summer-like week! Too bad I won't need my favourite blazer then ;)

This blouse is actually really old, I bought this on a market in France. Not worn often, but since the animal print/flower print is having it's comeback, I decided to wear it on this sunny day! Choosing for leather leggings wasn't the best idea, because it was way too hot! I'm still in love with my new bag, and I am glad I can combine this with almost everything :)

I decided to wear my hair back (I even used gel for it! I am usually a hairspray-only girl) and be easy on the make-up. Pretty hard for me since I love make-up and want to try out new things every day.. before I am going to decide what to wear tomorrow, I will flip throught my Elle Style Guide.. SO inspiring!

Got surprised at internship today; the office closed at half past three.. Of course I know what that means: shopping time in the city! As soon as I got this bag a few weeks ago, I knew I ~~needed~~ wanted another one.. These Italian bags are SO amazing! There are only a few of each bag in the store (and there are only 2 of those stores in the entire province)... Plus, they are real leather .. Beautiful details, too.. I could go on forever XD I also got myself a new dress, wich I will combine with my new bag and leather leggings.. Curious yet =P? I will shoot some pics of the look tomorrow!

These photo's were taken yesterday.. I love love love these baggy jeans from Primark.. I haven't worn them for so long.. Having to wear neat clothes for my internship, makes me wanna wear ripped jeans and everything I'm NOT allowed to wear during the week..
I am going to England in May again, and I am sure I will find another pair of baggy jeans at Primark.. And lots of other stuff at New Look, Bershka, Next.. ♥ I'm off, dreaming about my (shopping)trip to England...

Colorblocking

I love the whole colorblocking thing at the moment, especially the spring/summer11 collection of Gucci made me fall for this trend! It can be a little overwhelming, wich is why I decided to go for colorblocking details..
I have a lot of bright colored tops and cardigans, but no blazers/skirts and SHOES! My god, I don't even have a pair of colorful shoes.. Shame on me, I have about 15 pairs that I regularly wear but they're mostly black.. Time to change that ;) Perhaps I should also try to score a hot pink or a cobalt blue skirt.. *looking at my already extending wishlist*...

I've been searching for an animal-printed blouse for so long, but I never found one with the wow-factor..
This one is everything I've been looking for, since it's a boyfriend blouse! It's meant to be a little slouchy but I thought a size bigger than I usualy have gave it the ultimate bofriend touch :D I can tie it up to combine them with flared jeans or wear it without the belt and skinny jeans for a casual chic look :D LOVE it!

^ These are my 2nd pair of flats! My other ones are simple and black, so these a-little-over-the-top cuties screaming my name had to be mine

I bumped into this cool DIY-nails set full of little strass-stones and other shiny things and this is the result of 2 hours of creative nail art :D

finally scored a bling-bling case for my BlackBerry.. Even though I would die for an iPhone right now, I still love the BlackBerry I have now and it deserved a new look ;)

Only some dark colors under the eye, but still makes it stand out. Seeing this picture makes me wanna go blonde again! Yes people, I once had a haircolor like this:D I miss it sometimes..

The oversized clutch is still on my wishlist.. The color is just as amazing as the size and the material of this bag..

But the 'Satchel' is more suitable for the everyday-use.. From now on: Also on my wishlist.

Another oversized envelope clutch, but this one is my favourite.. I would love to have a clutch like this that I can combine with leather leggings and my golden-studded booties for a though look, or with a hotpink blazer for a nice contrast..

After listening The Pretty Reckless song 'Zombie' I realised that's exactly how I've been feeling lately.. I get up in the morning and have 15 minutes to wake up in the bus on my way to my internship, after that I again have 15 minutes to try not to fall asleep in the bus as I go straight on to my work, get home at 8.30 pm and finally go to bed pretty exhausted.. That's why I am so happy to actually have a weekend! I dont have to work, and it felt so good to wake up at 11 am this morning :D

This is what I wore yesterday evening, I went out with friends for the first time this year XD I used to go out almost every weekend but that just doesn't fit my schedule anymore now. I wore my leather leggings (been wearing those non stop, they're so comfy!) a sparkly April Evil dress and H&M blazer.. I am grateful for online shopping since going to the mall is the last thing I have time for right now, and I scored these H&M booties extremely marked down! From 39,95 for freakin 9,95! YAY☺

Oh today was such a beautiful day! Not only was it my grandfathers birthday, today was also the 1st day with signs of spring! Butterflies, lots of sun and an actual nice temperature made my day:D (plus the fact that I bought new booties from H&M, posted via twitter)

I had a day off from internship/work today so plenty of time to take some outfitshots:D AJAY recommend me this look because I tweeted that I wasn't sure how to combine these new leather leggings, and I love it :D Perfect for my though side ;) Thanx Ajay!

Casualty.. That's what I've been longing for for a long time now..The heels of course were everything but casual but the baggy jeans make up for that.
This is the 5th week of my internship and I've mostly been wearing my (thankfully huge) collection of blazers, blouses and neat jeans.. plus high heels. Such a relieve that I do have one pair of flats that are pretty decent (posted in a previous post) but there is no sign of spring yet so I would have to wear them with socks; not such a great idea..

I posted about my shopping trip to Roermond below and I still can't get over these Ralph Lauren jeans! I was SO lucky to score the last jeans on the reck, plus they were in my size! I love love love them and I can't wait to wear these in the summer, rolled up with killer heels!

P.S. I want to give this leather jacket a bit of a boost, I want it to have pointy shoulders like the Balmain jackets.. Any tips for a DIY?

my excuse for 'outfit photo' XD

I went shopping with my parents today in a huge designer outlet in Roermond (netherlands) and it was amazzzzinngg! I took my camera with me, but because of my extreme excitement I forgot the batteries, so I can only show you guys photos from my crappy BlackBerry's camera..

My wishlist was almost complete, and today I found everything I was still looking for! I've been buying a lot lately as you can see referring to my older posts. The only things I still wanted in my closet were a pair of leather leggings, 'neat 'boyfriend jeans (a.k.a no distressed/bleached jeans) and a boyfriend blazer in a color other than black.. I think I've got everything that I've been wanting lately, at least for now;)
The bigger stores like Gucci, Prada, Armani and Dolce&Gabbana were nice but I expected more.. I didn't really like most of the collections, and even though everything is marked down, most things are really NOT in the price range for a student like me.. I did manage to score these Ralph Lauren BF jeans, Hallhuber leggings, JC Jette blazer and Bruno Banani perfume.

I was wearing everything BUT comfortable clothing today..I had to adjust my whole outfit because the zipper of my flat boots came off and I had nothing else than high heels.. So I figured that I had to change the jeans I was wearing, and I didn't want to wear all black so I threw on my new gray Primark cape.. it almost got blown away about 10 times because of the stormy weather =P I can't decide what I want to wear first tomorrow; my jeans or my leggings... Hmm.. dilemma!

I haven't been blogging much lately, and when I dò blog, it's mainly about the new things I bought =P
Sorry for not posting much of my outfits:( I dont have time to shoot some outfit pictures during the day because of my internship, and it's already dark here at 6 PM ... But thankfully I still have my weekends although this weekend was taken over by work.. Brr.. Being a workaholic is not my thing:p I prefer going back to being a blogaholic!

Here are my freshly-welcomed-to-my-closet things! I am SO SO thankful for online shops and parents who know exactly what I like:D
1. cape from Primark (gift from my parents)
2. bag from Borse in Pelle (italian bags are the best!)
3. sneakers (online shopped from Van Haren) yay, I now even own a pair of sneakers!!
4. ballerina's (online shopped from van Haren) I needed flat shoes for my internship, and no heels/open shoes or sneakers meant ballerina's.. I actually love them, they're so cute!
5. poncho from Primark (also gifted from my parents) Such a great alernative for a coat when it's not too hot and not too cold :D

I hope I will be back with more outfit posts!

Pfew, the first week of my internship is over! I follow the education for Management Assistant (I want to become a Personal Assistant) and I'm an intern at a notary office for 6 months :D I really love the work because the tasks are very diverse! Though I am a bit bummed out that I hardly have time for outfit posts during the week, since I have to 'work' from 8 till 5, 5 days a week... Damn, real working hours haha! I was really exhausted since I am SO not used to long days of hard work, but I'm sure I'll get used to it ;) In the mean time, if you are super currious (LOL), you can keep up with my twitter for some outfit shots :D

I had my last test at school today, and it feels so strange to know that I won't have to go to school until after the summer holidays, in august! I have the days off till Monday, when my internship starts! Looking forward to it, but I will definately miss my friends, the city, and probably even school =P Since it was our last day of school together, I decided to go shopping with a friend afterwards, and this is what I got :D No shoes, and no clothes, just some nice things that I needed ;)

Pfew, this my first decent outfit post from this year =P.. I have been so busy lately, and I can't seem to slow down. I am in the middle of my tests and exams, and my 5 month-internship will start the 31st. That means getting up at 6.30 in the morning and getting home at 6 in the evening, 5 days a week. NOT looking forward to that (because when do I snap my outfit pics?!) but I am looking forward to the internship itself..

I was out of school earlier yesterday, and I decided to hit the city all by myself and windowshop a bit. It's so nice to go shopping alone, as nobody is complaining about my 'OMG I want this' and 'OMG those shoes are to die for!' ... I confess: I turn out to be the worst window shopper, because as soon as I laid eyes on the huge SALE signs, I ran into every shop possible =P I could not even suppress a squeal of joy when I saw this Jane Norman top ridiculously marked down!
I combined my new top with another new piece; this draped printed blazer from H&M. Together it makes kind of a bold look, but I like it♥

After going through some new magazines, including the new Grazia, I came across this great article about the Reverse French Manicure or half moon manicure. The name explains the idea; you apply the nailpolish all over your nails but you skip the half moon circle.. Or just paint that a different color;) I personally love the last option because I can never decide what color I want, and now I can wear two colors;)
I think it's cute, a nice way to mix and match with your outfit, and it's something different.. I'm already hooked! I wish I had longer nails though, it's so gorgeous on those models!

P.S. Something you may have noticed: (it's atually quite obvious XD) I have changed my blog name! I asked you guys to help me decide by voting, so thanks! This was my first choice and apparantly it's what most of you guys liked best too!

I didn't expect I would be too busy to take some new outfit shots to post, but unfortunately I am :(
I got some great things for Christmas, including these three lipsticks :D The first one is great because it stays on for hours, and the other two have a vanilla smell/taste.. I always hate it when you accidentaly get lipstick in your mouth and it tastes super mechanical, so no worries with these two!

I love the funny touch on the shoulders! I got this jacket for Christmas :D

I've fallen in love with long earrings, so these came perfectly for Christmas!

Hi dolls!

How was everyone's Christmas?? Mine was great, we all got lovely presents and enjoyed the delicious food that my mom and grandmother made :D I'm sad that Christmas went by so fast, because it's something I always already look forward to in the summer haha.. And with the new year 2011 coming up, I notice how fast this year has gone by.. Too bad, but that makes me realize that you should enjoy every moment :)
2010 has been a great year for me, and I hope 2011 will be just as good, or even better! I hope yours will be too!

I love everything about Christmas! I remember laying outside in the sun past summer, and already dreaming about Christmas.. And now it's actually a real white Christmas here in Holland! I really miss my high heels though, so after Christmas, the snow can dissapear if you ask me ;)

The following two looks is about my make-up and what I wore to work yesterday and today.. I'm a cashier in a supermarket, and every 2 days before Christmas (and new years eve) everybody gets to dress up in gray/black/white, and the more sparkles the better ;) It's so cute to see all the cashiers in their pretty outfits behind the counters : D And it's a nice change to the standard work outfits of course.

I wore a Fornarina blouse with grey skinny jeans and black H&M 'boyfriend' blazer. I recently bought a great (cream) duo eyeshadow in gold and silver, great for Christmas make-up! I used the gold on my eye, and a silver lining under my eye..

Here I wore my favourite blazer from Oshilly, a sequin dress and grey leggings. The make-up is pretty much the same but with more colder tones, and some extra glitter eyeliner.. I also put that in my hair, and this stays in much better and longer than those glitter hair sprays, plus you don't spill half of it on your clothes :D

I'm going to log off now, get some tea and probably watch Gossip Girl till I fall asleep again.. and then... CHRISTMAS! yay

I finally have vacation, so yesterday I could finally start sorting out my closet! It works SO refreshing, I felt completely relaxed again haha =P I have a double closet, and now I use one side for basics, and stuff that I don't wear much.. The other side is the 'favourites' side, so now I have all my most worn and favourites pieces together, yay! While sorting out the favourites, I realized that I actually have more shoes/bags/jewelry that I love (and wish I'd wear more often), but I simply forget it's there haha.. And that's probably a bad thing ;)
